The Lenten Music and Meditation Series will be each Wednesday thru April 1 at the First Presbyterian Church in Palatka at noon.  It is free and open to all.  The 30 to 40 minute gathering will feature music and vocals.

The March meeting of the Putnam County Historical Society will be held Saturday March 21 at 11am at the Bronson Mullholland house at 100 Madison Street in Palatka. Dianne Jacoby will portray Martha Washington.

Rodeheaver Boys Ranch will hold a fishing tournament Saturday March 21 at the Palatka City Dock. For information go to RBR.ORG.

The St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival will be held March 21 and 22nd at Francis Field from 10 to 9 on Saturday and 11 to 6 on Sunday.

The Putnam County Fair will be held March 20 to 28 at the fairgrounds in East Palatka. Senior Day is March 25th from 10:30 to 2pm. Go to Putnam fair and expo dot com for the schedule of events.

The Easter Bunny will be at the St Johns River Center on Monday March 30th from 5:30 to 7:30pm.  It is a free event with crafts, decorating a cupcake, and meeting the Easter Bunny. Sign up in advance with the Palatka Daily News to reserve your cupcake.

The Blessing of the Fleet will be held Palm Sunday March 29th at noon on a procession from the Cathedral Basilica to the St Augustine Municipal Marina. It can be viewed from the Bayfront.

The Crescent City Rotary Club’s Catfish Festival will be held all day Saturday April 4th at Eva Lyons Park in Crescent City with food, arts and crafts, entertainment and the annual parade.

Dining to Donate fundraiser will be held at the Filling Station 801 St Johns Ave in Palatka.  Tips will be donated to the Putnam First Cancer Fund. It will be held on Monday April 6th from 5 to 8pm.

The Pineland Lodge number 86 F&AM at 190 Peniel Road in Palatka will have a Fish Fry on Saturday April 11 from 11 to 2pm

A Law Enforcement Memorial will be held by the 10-24 Foundation on April 21 at 7:30pm at the Palatka Riverfront.

The River City Players will present “Daddy’s Dyin Who’s Got The Will” April 29 to May 10 at the Larimer Arts Center.  Go to rcpalatka.org for tickets and information

Putnam County World’s Greatest Baby Shower will be held Saturday May 16 at the Family Life Center at 1414 Bronson Street in Palatka from 11am to 2pm

There are new locations for drop off of food items for feed the need.  you can drop off at both Palatka Ameris bank locations, Putnam county school district office, the hospital, and at chips water works in the industrial warehouse site.  They are looking for non-perishable food items for backpacks for kids with pop tops if possible.
