The 2026 youth NFL flag football league registration is going on now from 4 years to 15 years. Register at the Jenkins Community Center or call 386-983-2385. Registration ends September 5th.  Cost is $50.

Concerts in the Plaza bring back the feeling of warm summer evenings when friends and families gathered in the town square to enjoy music and dancing. This popular event returns to downtown St. Augustine with live performances all summer long until September 3rd. The concert series features talented local and regional musicians. To celebrate America 250, this year’s concerts will highlight Americana music and other styles that are an important part of America’s musical history.

Located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, the Plaza sits between Cathedral Place and King Street, just west of the Bridge of Lions. Each week, musicians perform from the Gazebo, which has stood in the center of the Plaza for nearly 100 years.

Concerts take place every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. If there are weather delays or cancellations, updates will be posted on the city website homepage by 5:00 PM on the day of the concert.

The Francis Baptist Church will have an AWANA Carnival August 26 at 6pm with games, bounce house, petting zoo, food and fun.

The Francis Baptist Church will have a childrens skate night September 18th at 6pm

The Francis Baptist Churchwill have a youth tacos and trivia fundraiser on September 12 at 5pm.  A table and team of four is $40

Rodeheaver Boys Ranch has saddles and spurs Gala and evening of western elegance September 12 at 5pm at Trinity Baptist Church 5021 Silver Lake Drive in Palatka.  Individual tickets are $125 or a table of eight is $900.  Call Rodheavers for more information.

The Interlachen Methodist Church will serve breakfast on the third Saturday of each month and the 5th Saturday of the month will be held from 7am to 10am.  The cost is $7  for eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, biscuits and gravy, grits, toast, juice, and coffee .

Free Senior meals are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday  for hot meals and Tuesday and Thursday for salads at the Edgar Johnson Senior Center at 1215 Westover Drive in Palatka at noon

There are new locations for drop off of food items for feed the need.  You can drop off at both of the Palatka Ameris bank locations, Putnam county school district office, the hospital, and at chips water works in the industrial warehouse site.  They are looking for non-perishable food items for backpacks for kids with pop tops if possible.
